Assalamualaikum to all my readers. Nowadays,employment opportunities are very limited. Without a high probability skills to get a job opportunity is very thin. Because the skill is in search of the big companies and factories. Among the skills that meant is problem solving skills, thinking skills.

Before this I had a problem which are I don’t know what is my short term goal. So, to overcome this problem, I make research to get data and information. I make research on google, blog and youtube. Then, a few days ago,  I have seen the video that offer a big employability skills and jobs with decent salary.  I think I must watch this video first to make the reflection about my short term goals.

After watching that video, I already get an idea and there are some reflection that I can highlight. The reflection that I will be make are about the employability skills that really connect with the working world. Before enter the working world, I must simplify the skills that must have to face the working world which are:

Teamwork.

•          Able to work with other people confidently

Communication skills

•          Able to communicate with other people and they can understand you

Negotiating and Persuading skills

•           Able to discuss and reach a satisfaction agreement.
•           Able to convince others to make best action.

Creativity

•                    Can give new ideas and solution for the problem

Decision making

•                     Able to decide the best decision according to the fact and logic.

Time Management

•                    Can manage time effectively and punctual

My feeling after see the video are so excited because if I take that jobs I will be very rich after works for 2 or 3 years. I want to be a very rich person and a very successful person.  Because this will make my family and I feel happy. So, my desire to enter the working world are very high right now beside the job opportunities are really a big problem right now.

There are many positive and negative for me to be a successful person and to meet my short term goal.  I admit that, the opportunities to get job nowadays are very low.  But if I have skills and my academic are very good, I think I don’t have any problem to get hired. The positive are when I get my goal, I will get more experience and I will be more expert on work that I do. So, I will be an asset for my company that I work. That’s means, when I be an asset for the company, the chance  for getting fired are low. Beside, if I work with private sector, my income will be higher same as if I do my own business.  If I have my own business, I can create more work to other people.

The negative are, if I only depends on working with other people , government sector, or private sector my chance to be a rich people will be limited. If run own business, the competitors are very high. If you don’t have any skills, don’t ever dream to work in a big company. That’s because you will not become the asset of the company.

So, my short term goals that I want to achieve are, I want to work and be successful engineer (Senior Engineer) with networking and electronic company. This are my short term goals that I want to achieve within 5 years from now.  I know I will face many challenges to get my goals but I will accomplish this goal no matter what challenges that I will face. This short term goal are really have connection with the immediate goals and long term goals.  All this goals must have good communication skills, leadership skills and etc. But to get the long term goals, I have to get my immediate goals and short term goals first.

This are my short term goals that I want to get in the 5 years. There are no ways to be a successful person without any effort.

My plan on how to meet my goals are, firstly I must work and get experienced on how working world it is. If I don’t work and don’t have experienced, I would know how hard the working world it is. I must work with the company that run this business to get experience.  Even starting from the bottom, I will try my best to get experience. I must have knowledge about this business. So I must go and find people that expert about this sector and learn from them.

If I want to know about this sector, I must further my study. After that,  people will put more trust on me and then the chance for me to be a successful engineer will achieved.

Reflection Of Technopreneur

Ganesh Kumar Bangah

Assalamualaikum to all my readers. I would like to give an reflection about the technopreneurs. The person that I chose to be my reflection are Ganesh Kumar Bangah.

 Ganesh Kumar Bangah are  Originally from Johor Bahru, and he is one of Malaysia’s most successful technopreneurs. He is the cofounder and Group Chief Executive Officer of global online payment service provider, MOL Access Portal Sdn Bhd.

 Today MOL is one of the biggest online payment service providers in Asia with annual revenue of RM460mn while handling over 600,000 physical payment channels across 75 countries worldwide. In June 2000, Ganesh was certified by the Malaysia Book of Records as the Youngest Chief Executive Officer of a Public Listed Company in Malaysia when he listed MOL Access Portal Sdn Bhd on the MESDAQ Market of Bursa Malaysia at the age of 21.

 In 2009 he acquired Friendster Inc. a pioneer social network. Ganesh was also a top runner for the Ernst & Young Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year - Malaysia 2004, 2007 and Pua Khein Seng 2012 Awards.

Some of MOL’s main payment products include:

•   An online wallet for purchasing virtual goods, specifically for game credits and online content.
•   An online wallet for purchasing non-virtual goods like products and services from online enterprises.
•  MOLCards is a prepaid card sold at MOL distribution channels. It is used to top up MOLPoints.

Ganesh started work at age 17 in 1997 when he was still an undergraduate. He worked as a promoter in a Johor-based company, Cyberfield.  After working there for some time, Ganesh dropped out of university to focus on the company because of the potential he saw. It was a decision that he doesn’t regret but does

In the interview, he said that:

 I saw an article that the Singapore government wants to turn Singapore into a Silicon Valley. They should encourage students to drop out. 

The reflection that can be made are:

Self Independents

As we can see, he use to work as a part time promoter in a Johor based Company when he 17 years old. From this we can see that he want to be a succesfull person and don't want live in a  medium live. He try to independent his self from the age 17.
I take this as an example for my life. From this I have learn, we cannot too depends on other person. Try to independent yourself if you want to success. 

Best Strategies

Ganesh have make a decision that he does not regret which are he dropped out from university to focus on the company. He have plan on how to survive in a real world of business.

For me, this step maybe dangerous and too risky. But lets look in other side. If I want to be a success person, I have to take many risk to reach that goals. But for sure I want to finish my study. For me, study is important if want to be a success person. I take the attitude of Ganesh and try to practice in my daily life. So, I must find the best strategies for me to be a success person in my life.

Leadership

This ability are important when you want to handle the company or any organisation. Ganesh have show this ability when he able to handle the company and makes the people use his product. This because, when you can influence others toward the achievement goal, the person will put trust on you to be a leader in an organisation. 

I take this as my word encouragement. I can practice this step when at my College or at home. I can show to other that I can be leader to the others. This step really give me an insparation to be a successful person.

IT Skills

The IT skills are really important in world nowadays to find work. Acquiring a basic IT skills and being familiar with using a computer will  open up a wide range of employment opportunities and increase your marketability in the workplace.

Time Management

Behind the success of person, time management skill will play a big role. That's because, when you can handle your time management, that's means you are very discipline with yourself. Time is money, so if you do not take serious about it, for sure you will lost something big.  

This are one of the most important thing if want to be succes and getting someone trust. I try to absorb this in my life so that i can be succesful person one day. For me, people will be more confident with us if our time management are very good.

After know the background of Ganesh Kumar, I fell very proud because he really dare to take risk even he have been dropped out from the university. Now he already be a successful  technopreneur  and very famous person.

For me, to be a successful it really need a huge effort and sacrifice from now. The huge effort that I mean it are, sacrifice my time like study more than do other things and focus on it. Ganesh know how to take the chance and looked, now he already become one of the most successful person in this country.

Even you have the skills but you don’t know how to use it or grab the chance that in front you, you will not be a successful person. Ganesh kumar have take this opportunities to run a business.  Even a small business also needs the proper way to manage and know how to appreciate it.

So, my long term goals that I want to achieve are, I want to have my own business that really successful and  known all around the world. Business that I mention are networking and electronic company. This are my long term goals that I want to achieve within 8 years from now.  I know I will face many challenges to get my goals but I will accomplish this goal no matter what challenges that I will face. This long term goal are really have connection with the immediate goals and long term goals.  All this goals must have good communication skills, leadership skills and etc. But to get the long term goals, I have to get my immediate goals and short term goals first.

This are my long term goals that I want to get in the 8 years.  Ganesh have give me the inspiration to be a successful technopreneur. If compare my education level with Ganesh, I have higher education compare to Ganesh. But because of he know how to grab the opportunities , now he already become the successful technopreneur. 

To become a successful technopreneur  there are no easy ways to get it. I must plan the strategies to get it. My strategies are develop the key performance indicators which are (KPI). I must monitored on what is going on and get data related to the results.

Next, I must know people that are run this business and learn from them and make research about the business . I must have knowledge about this business. So I must go and find people that expert about this sector and learn from them.

Setting goals are easy but to get it are hard. So, if serious with the goals, put all my effort to get it and try to face the new world. Run business are about start making money. But before making money, losing the money as capital to start business are needed.

Reflection Of Employability Skills

The Reflection Of Employability Skills

Assalamualaikum to all my readers. Last week I attend Employability Skills class. During the class, I have learn about  how to give reflection about the Employability Skills. Reflection in scientific means something that is reflected as heat or especially light. But in Employability Skills, its means  we think more deeper  on what we have seen like we have seen a video so we make a summary on about that video.

From the reflection that make, we can improve and personal coaching our self to be more reliable and can make our self think out side the box.

In these blog, I will put also the video that I use to make the reflection that related to Employability Skill.

Support Each Other and Responsible

You have to be good at working with people. Thats means, if you and your teammates are work together, the work can be done and finish on time. Each of us have own responsible to finish the work, so do your part of work and be responsible on it.

Best Strategies

As a person that have high Employability Skills, you must have a best strategies to handle the situation. As in the video, you can see that to make the process complete, the best technique and strategies are use. This because, if you do not have best strategies, the project or work cannot be done and finish on time. The work will scattered.

Logical and Critical Thinking

This are one of the most important things.  The ability to solve problems and make decisions can be an important asset and a high skills that must be develop inside the worker.

Organisational Skills and experience

You must able to plan work to meet deadlines and target. Like in the video, the target are to make car, so the progress of work must be monitor and track.  The experience are really needed because without experience the work maybe cannot be done properly.

Creative

In Employability Skill, creative are one of the most important criteria. It is clearly and effectively is a key in the work plan. When the worker are creative, the work will be more attractive and interesting.

Every people have their own reflection but the reflection must suitable with the situation.

I really surprised after watch that video because there are no human in the video and the video was made without the use of editing from computer. This video really attract my attention because it shows the cooperation between every car component to work together and the result are the perfect car.

The positive that can see from this video are, it shows the uniqueness for this video which are, every component have their own responsible. So that’s means, every person in this world have their own responsibilities. My responsibilities are to finish study with a great results.

The negative are, without cooperation and responsibilities the video will not be interesting. If one of the component are not play their role, maybe the car cannot be produce. Like, my responsibilities are to study, but if I not doing it, I will ruin myself.

This video are really have connection and its really relevant to me and my personal goals. My personal goals which are immediate goals are to finish my study with a great result. So that, I can work in big and famous company which are engineering company. To get this, I must play my own role as students. Like, study, do revision, and finish work or assignment that were given by lecture.

Advertisement from HONDA really give me inspire to work harder to finish my study and get great result.

To finish my study with great result, I must focus in class when lecture explain about the topic or subject. When I focus, I will understand about what lecture teach about. Next are, do revision and study group. When doing revision or study group, I will be more understand about the topic. So that, this will help me to answer question examination.

Then, I must do all the assignment that have been given and submit it on time. When, I able to submit it on time, it will teach me the time management. So that, I can do my assignment with a correct way. Lastly, I must ask lecture about topic that I  don’t understand. When I ask them and they will explain more detail about it. All this will help me to answer my examination paper. So that, I can graduate and finish study with a great results.

Kelantan bina Rumah Baru untuk mangsa banjir

KOTA BHARU: Kerajaan Kelantan akan membina 16 rumah di Gua Musang dan sembilan di Ketereh dengan perbelanjaan sebanyak RM1 juta untuk mangsa banjir yang hilang kediaman. 

Menteri Besar Kelantan, Datuk Ahmad Yakob, berkata pembinaan rumah kekal fasa pertama itu adalah melalui sumbangan Tabung Amanah Bencana Banjir yang ditubuhkan kerajaan negeri ini pada 29 Disember lalu. "Daripada maklumat terkini, sebanyak RM4,774,000 dikumpulkan melalui tabung berkenaan. Oleh sebab itu kerajaan bersedia untuk membina rumah kekal yang pertama yang akan dilancarkan di Gua Musang sebanyak 16 dan di Ketereh sembilan dengan perbelanjaan RM1 juta," katanya pada sidang akhbar mengenai tabung berkenaan di Kompleks Kota Darulnaim di sini, hari ini. 

Ahmad berkata, kerajaan juga mengenal pasti tanah seluas 3.6 hektar di Manek Urai, Kuala Krai untuk dibina 150 rumah kekal dengan kos RM6 juta yang dibiayai kerajaan Selangor. 

Beliau berkata, kerajaan negeri melalui ketua jajahan juga sedang mengenal pasti rumah untuk disewa selama tiga bulan bagi dijadikan kediaman sementara kepada mangsa banjir. 

Sementara itu, kerajaan negeri sudah mengenal pasti sejumlah 56,472 ketua isi rumah yang terbabit dengan banjir bagi menerima bantuan sekali bayar RM500 daripada kerajaan persekutuan. 

Beliau berkata, senarai akhir ketua isi rumah itu akan dikemukakan kepada Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) dalam tempoh terdekat bagi membolehkan pembayaran dibuat. 

Ahmad berkata, beliau bersama timbalannya serta anggota Exco kerajaan negeri akan menyumbang sebulan gaji kepada Tabung Amanah Bencana Banjir berkenaan manakala Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri akan menyumbang sebulan elaun. 

Beliau mengalu-alukan dermawan untuk sama-sama menyumbang kepada tabung berkenaan

Mejar Zaidi di hukum buang kerja!!!

KUALA LUMPUR: Mejar Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) Zaidi Ahmad telah dijatuhkan hukuman buang kerja daripada perkhidmatan Yang di-Pertuan Agong serta-merta selepas didapati bersalah di atas dua dakwaan melanggar protokol mendedahkan masalah dakwat kekal yang digunakan dalam pilihan raya umum Mei 2013.

Keputusan itu dibuat oleh Yang Dipertua, Kolonel Saadon Hassan yang mengetuai panel lima anggota yang terdiri daripada Leftenan Kolonel Zainurin Mohd. Dom, Mejar Khuzairi Mohd. Arshad, Mejar Khairul Nizam Taib dan Mejar S. Nadzeer Salehuddin.

Dalam satu laporan Berita Harian, Saadon berkata tindakan Zaidi berdiam diri ketika dipanggil membela diri sudah cukup untuk mensabit kesalahannya.

Zaidi dilaporkan menuturkan  ‘jumpa nanti di mahkamah Allah’, selepas mahkamah rayuan membenarkan beliau menampilkan saksi untuk menyokong rayuan bagi hukuman lebih ringan.

Zaidi dilaporkan bercakap tanpa henti dan mahkamah terpaksa mencelah dan menyuruhnya berhenti bercakap dan menghormati mahkamah.

"Saya tiada apa lagi untuk dikatakan. Jumpa nanti di mahkamah Allah," katanya.

Perbuatan itu didakwa dilakukannya di Taman Bertam Indah, Kepala Batas, Pulau Pinang pada 3 Mei tahun sama.

Bagi kedua-dua pertuduhan itu, dia didakwa telah melanggar para 13 Perintah Majlis Angkatan Tentera (Permat) no. 13 1961.

Kesemua pertuduhan dikemukakan mengikut Seksyen 50(2) Akta Angkatan Tentera 1972 yang memperuntukkan hukuman penjara sehingga dua tahun atau mana-mana lebih ringan, termasuk dibuang kerja atau diturunkan pangkat.

Panel hakim itu melepas dan membebaskan Zaidi daripada lima pertuduhan lain setelah pihak pendakwaan gagal membuktikan kes prima facie terhadapnya.

Adakah Harga barang Naik?

PUTRAJAYA: Menteri Perdagangan Dalam Negeri Koperasi Dan Kepenggunaan Datuk Sri Hasan Malek hari ini tidak menafikan berlakunya kenaikan harga barang ekoran banjir yang melanda sesetengah negeri baru-baru ini.

Menurut beliau, pihaknya mengamalkan pemasaran secara terbuka dan sebagai agensi kerajaan kementeriannya tidak boleh menetapkan harga barang sesuka hati kerana negara ini mengamalkan sistem demokrasi.

“Saya sendiri turun ke Kelantan ada dakwaan mengatakan harga ayam naik RM30 ringgit sekilo, telur 1 biji RM1 ringgit, sebenarnya dakwaan itu tidak benar.

“Mungkin ada satu dua tempat berlaku kenaikan harga barang ekoran terputus hubungan, tetapi secara umumnya tidak ada kenaikan harga barangan. Kalau ada kenaikan, mungkin ianya merupakan kenaikan yang setimpal,” katanya kepada pemberita di kementerianya hari ini.

Sehubungan itu, Hassan berkata pihak KPDNKK akan mengadakan Ops Pasca Banjir bagi mengambil tindakan kepada peniaga yang mengaut keuntungan secara berlebihan terutamanya di negeri-negeri yang dilanda banjir.

“Kalau berlaku kenaikan harga barang kita akan ambil tindakan perundangan di bawah Akta Kawalan Harga dan Anti Pencatutan 2011, saya tidak mahu rakyat diseksa semasa mereka dalam kesusahan.

“Jika perniaga didapati bersalah mereka juga boleh didenda RM200 hingga RM500,” katanya.

Beliau mengakui kekurangan keangotaan KPDNKK di seluruh negara sebagai salah satu kekangan untuk melakukan operasi secara menyeluruh.

Menjawab soalan pemberita mengenai dakwaan Naib Presiden PKR, Rafizi Ramli berkaitan harga minyak, beliau berkata kementeriannya akan mengadakan perbincangan terperinci sebelum memgumumkan keputusan kepada media berhubung dakwaan yang dibuat Rafizi bagi memastikan setiap keputusan akan memuaskan kedua-dua pihak.

Rafizi telah berkali-kali menggesa kerajaan supaya penetapan harga minyak dilakukan setiap minggu berdasarkan kononnya sistem penetapan harga minyak yang dilakukan sekarang merugikan pengusaha minyak sehingga boleh menyebabkan mereka gulung tikar.

Keadaan angin kencang dan laut bergelora ini adalah berbahaya kepada bot-bot kecil, rekreasi laut dan sukan laut.
